Setting goals - 300cm broad jump
Each year I set myself certain physical performance goals. This year it is jumping 300cm in the broad jump. I have been working on speed strength the whole year and today i tested again. In bad conditions (slippery floor, loose shoes, just after training, early in the morning, 1 day after Interval sprints...) I got 290 consistently. I beleive with spikes on a track, or boots on good grass, well rested on a good day 300cm is in reach... yay! This year 300cm. next year another challenging goal... 100m in less than 11 seconds. Can i do it? Dont know! but i will train so that i put myself in a good position to succede!
