Finisher workouts

If you have never heard of these, these are things you do at the end of your main trainign session. I feel they have several purposes.

Fat loss - yup, i try to do anerobic kind of finishers that leave me gasping for air. 10-20 mins of these at the end of workouts are really good for fat loss.

"the PUMP" - hey! first time i talk about this. The main reason is to get blood into the muscles for flushing out waste and speeding recovery. Old time strongmen and weightlifters used to go for walks in waist deep rivers to get the blood going to their legs for recovery purposes

Conditioning - you can tailor finishing workouts to condition you for your specific sport.

I ususally do light weights or body weight exercises for a complex. For example.

15 burpees with a jump
20 lunges
20 pushups
20 squats
10 chinups
all with no rest between
thats 1 set

pant pant pant...

maybe do 1 or 2 more sets depending on how much conditioning i need at this phase of the year.
