Velocity Diet - Day 5

I'm getting used to this... willpower is strong:) but food still looks nice! haha

The thrill of blogging

Things have really picked up. I appreciate all who visit, read, leave comments and tags. I will say again that my reason for blogging is simply to be a good influence in the internet community. To influence you need to be famous. Not so that my ego can be puffed up. But rather that more people can gain something meaningful from the writing.

Those blogs i link to in the sidebar are also stuff i would consider inspirational, they may not be the most "famous" or write about the topics that appeal to the gossip/sex/controvesy lust in us, but i beleive that after you visit those sites (hehe and hopefully this one also) you leave with a feeling that the internet really can be a place to get inspired and be in a positive enviroment.

With a growing audience, i feel a greater responsibiltiy to write/podcast (coming soon when i can think of soemthing meaningful to say haha)/video better and better. I have been in discussion with an up-coming online magazine to be a article contrbutor. I look forward to that. If anybody has:

Suggestions, questions, or comments I welcome them:)

Constructive criticism is also welcome:)

Whining, flaming, offensive, tasteless comments/tags = NOT welcome:(

Thanks again to all readers.

Jonathan "CaptnJ" Wong

Part 2 of an inspirational story!

"I seek solace and comfort in the things I was good in. The many nights of clubbing and house parties were what I was comfortable with. People like me. People like to talk to me. They too feel comfortable to relate to me because in that state, they see a happy go lucky guy who is pretty sorted with his thoughts. They see a guy who always smile regardless of what happens."

- Excerpt from part 2 of "From Dawn to Dusk"

My buddy Chriz "wipsky" Siew wrote about his former life here. Now he's got his own blog and you can read part 2 here. Its an awesome story. I know of people who never get out of that kind of self-destructive lifestyle. And of those who do some are never the same agian and often they return becuase the "Real world" doesnt accept them, or they dont know how to adjust.

Wipsky's story is really a story of hope and destiny. Very powerful...
