Impressive Taxi Driver

Today I was taking a taxi... I met probably the fittest taxi driver ever. The guy is 55 years old and exercises daily. Maintains a 6 pack and wears the same pants as he wore 20 years ago as a member of the air force. Run's a 10 minute 1.5 mile. and a 65 sec 400m... It was pretty impressive. I even had the pleasure of helping him with some trigger points in his forearms which were possibly from spending all day gripping the steering wheel.

All wonderful news... except for a sad part of the story. He has a son who is a fat slob (his words not mine). The culprit: Computer games... no surprise but still quite a numbing thought. Most problems are traced to family issues and poor role modeling by parents. But this did not seem to be the case (from first contact).

It was scary that my children might end up like that! ... No computer games for them! That means that the entertainment will be ME. Read them books, play games, run around.
