IPPT today!
the stations were easy, i cruised through at about 50%:)
20 chinups
40 situps
270cm jump
9.5 sec shuttle (4x10m)
All this on a slippery floor (really really bad for the jump and the shuttle)
Drumroll... now the moment of truth... can i really get a 10 min 1.5mile/2.4km run with NO specific training?
Ans: NO ..... hahaha
I was WELL on pace for a 9:30-10 min run.... till 6min 30sec. then i hit the wall. I ended up at about 10:40 or so. What does this show?
1. I have the speed to do the timing easily
2. I dont have the speed endurance to keep it up
BUT good news! Speed endurance is EASIER to get than speed! I think 3-4 sessions of race distance and I would have gotten it! So in the end i got $200 instead of $400... 40 sec away... next time... next time...
