Making eating correctly a Lifestyle Part 4 - Starchy stuff only after training

Carbs are yummy. When people see me eating no rice or noodles for most meals, they immediately think I'm goin all low carb and how thats"no fun" or "unrealistic...". Well firstly if we add up all the carbs from fruits and veges which we talk about HERE. Its moderate carb intake already. In addition... during and after training (whether its weights, running or any other form of hard activity), sweet/startchy (they are the same to the body) carbs are A-OK. They will be used to replenish muscle energy and not stored as excess tummy. Other times of the day however excess carbs = jiggly here we come! So you can eat some of the "regular" foods... just do it within an hour or so after training:)
